Welcome to AP European History. At first, this class is really difficult- wait scratch that- AP Euro is always difficult, but it is worth it :) Students taking this class will learn in depth about European history from the fifteenth century until present day.

Requirements:
- Over the summer students will need to read a book to prepare for the class.
- A notebook for taking notes. You will probably need several :)
- Highlighters, there will be random checks.
- Binders, one for each semester.
- Sherman Book (the link to buy it in helpful links).
- Your brain. Mr. Gibbons hates slackers!
- Chapter outlines. Usually about 1/2 a chapter per week.
- Sherman summaries.
- Glossing a packet (highlight and annotate).
- Tests, about every other week.
- DBQ, document based questions.
If you love challenging but fun classes than this is a class for you! This class is hard, and there is a lot of homework, but it's also an extremely enjoyable class :)
